Shot over the course of seven months, we meet players and coaches that make up the golf team, featuring footage and interviews from team camps and matches, at-home visits with players and more.

Forethought Films shines a spotlight on individuals, groups, and organizations whose contributions to golf and other sports deserves recognition, ensuring their narratives become an essential part of their sports evolving legacy.

We do this by creating fundraising and awareness videos that help organizations share their missions and make a greater impact. These videos highlight the lives of children and individuals less fortunate, as well as those working tirelessly to support them, and build a stronger community that is more understanding of diverse needs.

Our Team

Seth Fader and Paul Berner have collectively spent over 40 years in the golf and sports television industry. They have produced and directed numerous shows and features for organizations such as the PGA Tour, Golf Channel, the USGA, major television networks, and independent corporations. Their extensive experience has solidified their reputation as trusted professionals in crafting compelling sports content.

    Paul Berner is an Emmy Award-winning director of photography with over 25 years experience in sports and documentary television. A leading visual storyteller, he has filmed all four golf major championships, the Ryder Cup, The Players, the U.S. Amateur, and over 250 PGA Tour events.

    Paul’s work spans tournament highlight films, national commercials, and feature segments for clients such as the PGA Tour, USGA, and ECCO Golf. His credits include broadcast specials, athlete profiles, and network teases for NBC Sports, CBS Sports, the Golf Channel, and more.

    In addition, his diverse portfolio extends to music documentaries and heartwarming human-interest stories that have become an integral part of Forethought Films’ passion.

Co-Founder, Executive Producer. Seth Fader is an award-winning producer and director working in the sports industry for over 25 years.

  • Co-Founder, Executive Producer

    Seth Fader is an award-winning producer and director working in the sports industry for over 25 years. Seth led Long Form and Documentary Production, Field Production, and International Content during his 20 years at PGA Tour Entertainment. Seth also led the Video Content team at Masters Digital for the past seven years. His work has been featured on all major U.S. networks and in over 120 countries. 

    After leaving the PGA Tour in 2022, Seth became the President and Executive Producer of jumboMedia LLC and has produced content for Augusta National Golf Club, USGA, PGA of America, NBC Golf, CBS Sports, Intersport and the Ladies Professional Golf Association.

    Patrick has over 25 years of proven experience in account management, providing exceptional client satisfaction through strategic planning, AI process improvements, and cost optimizations. Before joining Forethought Films he led customer success efforts at Florida Gulf Coast University, Microsoft, and The Ritz Carlton.
